The 2013 vintage is crimson in color with aromas of boysenberry, cassis and plum; highlighted by hints of vanilla and nutmeg. The tannins, while seamless, are silky with flavors of dark fruit-boysenberry and cocoa accents. The wine is aged 21 months in 100% new French oak barrels, then 14 months aging in the bottle before release.
