Often described as the king of white grapes, Riesling’s high natural acidity lends it well to ageing. In Austria, Riesling is always dry and grows very well on our slaty soils. When young it expresses flavours of white peach and lime and and as it ages it develops more weight, ripe orange over tones and a gentle petroleum nose, so famous of this varietal.
