The younger vines from the great Napanook vineyard find their way into this remarkably classy third wine from Christian Moueix’s Dominus Estate, and as result it represents a fantastic window into the world of the grand vin. Refined Napa Cabernet notes mingle with minerals and a cool streak of dark chocolate and cherry – the package and charm is all Napa, but the winemaking feels traditionally old world as richness meets refreshment.
