In the historic vineyard of the Rosenberg, the grapes are favoured by the moderating influences of the Neusiedler Lake, breathe the mild Pannonic climate and are nurtured by the multi-layered minerality of this extraordinary terroir. The wine is Cherry red with a delicate lightening towards the rim. This Pinot Noir has aromas of dark berries such as blackberries and raspberries which produce a complex bouquet with floral nuances. Light toasty aromatics from elegantly integrated oak. Bold on the palate, unfolding gracefully with a long finish and nougat aftertaste. Most pleasurable with mushroom dishes, duck and lamb.
