Grapes mainly coming from different vineyards in the Barolo and Barbaresco area.
Winemaking: alcoholic fermentation lasts around 3-4 weeks at a controlled temperature of 28°-32°C and is followed by malolactic fermentation in steel tanks and/or barriques. All vineyards are vinified and aged separately. After the malolactic fermentation, the aging continues in wood (barriques and large barrels) for about 18-20 months. The wine is then assembled in stainless steel tanks for bottling.
Description: hints of raspberry, currant, mint and spices. Round and elegant tannins, long and refined finish. Robust, intense, powerful when young, complex and elegant with aging.
Serving: at 16°C to 18°C in a Pinot Noir/Nebbiolo glass.
