The character of Sangiovese and the charm of Cabernet Sauvignon give life to an intense wine, with aromas of black cherry and delicate notes of vanilla and spices. Red wine of great character and complexity, a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards have an average age of 15 years and a yield of 75 quintals of grapes per hectare. Ferments in dedicated temperature-controlled fermenters with long constant maceration of the marc. It ages for 18 months in 550-liter Allier oak tonneaux and ages for a further 6 months in the bottle.
Pairing: Tagliatelle with meat sauce, long-aged t-bone steak.
