One of the most renowned and characterful vineyard sites in the eastern part of Mád, Plot 46 spans just 0.98 hectares and is known for its complex volcanic soil composition. Layers of red clay, weathered zeolite, hard rhyolite, and tuff contribute to a truly distinctive terroir. This Furmint captures the essence of the site with remarkable precision – saline, stony, and intensely mineral. Fermentation occurred spontaneously with native yeasts in oak barrels, followed by eight months of ageing in 300-litre first-fill oak, enhancing both texture and expression.
